Current situation and strategic development Ansabere Surgical is a Spanish company dedicated to the design and manufacture of surgical instruments. Our product range comprises specialty surgical retractor systems, mechanical arms for laparoscopic surgery and positioners for traumatology. We hold more than ten patents. Our manufacturing plant is located in Noain (Navarre), within the European Business and Innovation Centre of Navarre (CEIN), pertaining to the Government of Navarre. Ansabere has been certified to the ISO 13485:2003 standard and has also been a member of the community of Technology Based Innovative Enterprises (EIBT) since 2005.

Our history Ansabere Surgical was created in 2003 by a team of people with more than 15 years’ experience in the medical and surgical equipment manufacturing sector. In June 2004, Ansabere received the award for the best business project in the IDEATIVA 2004 contest for innovative projects by young entrepreneurs.

We initially started out as suppliers to the Spanish market; however we have now expanded our market presence to include France, Italy, Germany, Greece, Japan... Ansabere’s principal customers are hospitals. Here we would highlight the University Clinic of Navarre, the Hospital of Navarre, the Vall d´Hebron Hospital of Barcelona, the General Hospital of Valencia, the Mutua Hospital of Terrasa, the General University Hospital Gregorio Marañón, the CEMTRO Clinic, the Quirón Hospital in Madrid, the University Hospital Marques de Valdecilla, amongst others.
